Straz Center hosts a diverse array of free events, performances, programs and workshops designed with entertainment, personal enrichment, healing and education in mind. Donations ensure we can provide these programs at no cost:
- Arts Legacy REMIX is a monthly free performance curated by Straz and a team of local artists highlighting different cultures and celebrating the diversity of Tampa Bay through food, music, dance and visual arts.
- Straz Salutes provides service members, veterans and their families artistic outlets designed to foster healing and help with the transition between military service and civilian life.
- Arts & Mind Village explores the power of healing through the arts in virtual conversations created in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University.
- Arts Education Partnership Program delivers customized curriculum for nonprofit partners and schools serving disadvantaged students. Each program is customized to address the partner’s unique needs and includes a combination of experiences such as classes, visits from touring artists, masterclasses, invitations to attend dress rehearsals or tickets to performances at Straz.
