Musical Theater
The Patel Conservatory Theater Department offers musical theater opportunities for ages four through Adult. These courses focus on building movement, vocal and acting skills. Students learn how to merge these skills and effectively produce musical theater. Students continue to engage in the musical theater process through in-class showcases and audition-based performance opportunities.

Acting
The Patel Conservatory Theater acting classes provide students with a variety of acting techniques. Students learn how to create well-rounded characters, believable relationships onstage and develop the skills needed to successfully perform any role. Students hone both individual and ensemble skills and practice these skills through in-class showcases and activities. Students have the opportunity to audition for a variety of one-act and full length plays each year.

The Broadway Intensive
Join our dynamic four-week musical theater program for intermediate to advanced performers ages 14 through college! The journey begins with a one-week intensive filled with master classes, workshops and rehearsals led by guest artists and industry professionals. Participants then progress to a three-week rehearsal phase, staging the hilarious Something Rotten!.

Theater Certification Program
The Theater Certification Program is an intensive theater training program geared toward students pursuing acceptance into a performing arts high school, college program or as a supplemental training program for students interested in beginning a professional career.

PCT Ensemble
A steppingstone for aspiring theater artists, PCT Ensemble is a pre-professional audition-based program that prepares dedicated young performers for the world of musical theater through comprehensive training in acting, singing, and dance. As performing arts ambassadors of the Straz Center, ensemble members will develop their musical theater repertoire and have the opportunity to showcase their talents at various events throughout the year, culminating in a spring showcase for families. -

Theater Private Coaching
Prepare to walk into any theater audition and nail it! Individual private coaching for audition preparation purposes is available through the Patel Conservatory Theater Department.
Available Classes
After-school courses are offered Monday-Friday and Saturdays. Our full slate of courses includes courses for age levels ranging from pre-school through adult and levels of experience from beginner to advanced.
