Opera Tampa Chorus
Opera Tampa will hold auditions for the opera chorus in Tampa for the 2026 opera season. Auditions are by appointment only and to be held on the Ferguson Hall at Straz Center, 1010 N. W.C MacInnes Place Tampa, FL 33602

Sunday, May 25 and Monday, May 26

The deadline to sign up is Sunday, May 18.
2026 PRODUCTIONS DATES
The Shining (Sung in English) January 30 and February 1
The Magic Flute (Sung in English) February 27 and March 1
Macbeth (Sung in Italian) April 24 and 26
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Please bring at least two memorized, contrasting selections, one of which should be in the language of the show for which you are auditioning. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring your music in a book or in a 3-ring binder with the music printed on both sides of the page.
2026 MAINSTAGE PRODUCTIONS: GENERAL AUDITIONS
Applicants should be prepared to sing five (5) arias of contrasting styles, composers, and languages.
