The Straz jazz team works with high school bands, orchestras and music students increasing their understanding, appreciation and technical skills.
Hand-selected students from participating schools will perform as a group at the Spring Music Spectacular in Ferguson Hall in the spring of 2025. The joyous performance is the culmination of many hours of technique workshops and collaborations with music teachers plus local and national jazz professionals that showcases the students’ continued mastery of the music genre.
