Through volunteer opportunities you will be able to connect with other parents, contribute to your student’s experiences and make a lasting impact on the community surrounding the Patel Conservatory and Straz Center.
During your time as a Patel Conservatory Volunteer, you will contribute in the following ways:
Backstage Helpers
As a Backstage Helper you will assist with check-ins, costumes and make-up, noise and volume control of backstage performers and escorting students to and from their dressing rooms during recitals and performances. This is an exciting and vital behind the scenes role which helps make every performance run smoothly.
Event Decorators
If you are a creative person who loves to design and coordinate event layouts and decor, you would be an excellent addition to our volunteer team as an Event Decorator! Event Decorators help with setting up and decorating events and gatherings for Patel students, staff and fellow volunteers.
Event Cleaners
Help us end our events on a high note and help with event cleaning! Event cleaners assist with striking and clean-up to ensure spaces are left tidy and organized following exciting Patel Conservatory events and activities.
Party/Meal Attendants
Volunteers in this role will help organize and serve food and beverages at cast parties and meals during student performances, ensuring everyone gets a bite to eat before the next show! This is a great way to get involved in the excitement of our Patel Conservatory performances and recitals.
